Primary Job: Red Mage, skilled healer, very knowledgeable in the field of Arcanum.
Notable Abilities: Extremely high running speed, infuses her legs with aether to go at blinding speeds. Attacks with aether infused kicks. Weaves foreign geometric symbols to aid in her casting. Highly adept at combat healing skills. There's also something very weird about her sword....

Middle child of 11 siblings, Kolulu could never obtain the attention she sought from her mother, always trying and failing to stand out among the rest of her family. When Dalmascan refugees fled to the Isles out of fear of Garlean rule, a young Kolulu heard tales of heroism and was inspired by accounts of lifesaving healing spells woven by adventurers.
With a natural gift in mending arcana, Kolulu set off for Eorzea on her 18th nameday, seeking fame, fortune and finally, recognition.Kolulu would spend years learning the art of Conjury in Gridania, though the people of Twelveswoods were not kind to an outsider like her, her skill spoke for itself and allowed her a place as a medic for the Wood Wailers. Due to her good reputation, she and her close ally R'hika were assigned to be the personal escorts an Ishgardian, elezen merchant by the name of Valtemont.Before long, Kolulu and Valtemont fell in love, getting the attention she always craved, Kolulu was ready to give up the dangerous life and marry in peace, however, Valtemont was arranged to marry into one of Ishgard's high houses. Valtemont opposed the arranged marriage, and attempted to forsake the arrangements and get his family's blessing to marry Kolulu instead. Tragically, a failed negotiation with his mother resulted in Kolulu being struck with a poisoned arrow in the Coerthian highlands.Seeking aide from his fellow Ishgardians, Valtemont was shocked as one person after another shunned him away as he held his dying beloved in his arms. The union of an Ishardian and a Lalafell from who knows where was looked down upon by all, and so his people left her to die. Through her own healing prowess, Kolulu was able to save her own life at the last moment, and the two fled to Limsa with plans to migrate back to the South Sea Isles.Valtemont, however, could not let the attempt on Kolulu's life slide, and, nestled away in the deepest pockets of his merchant caravan, was a stone that promised him the power he needed to exact revenge on those who wronged his love.Naturally things go wrong, Valtemont's hate consumes him as he turns into a terrible knight with the power to rot away steel, flesh and bone with one swing of his sword. Killing Kolulu's ally R'hika in an attempt to stop him, Valtemont vanishes, promising to bring an end to both his family, and the Ishgardian society that allowed Kolulu's near murder to happen, with Kolulu herself powerless to stop him as only a mere conjurer.The love of her life now twisted and malformed because of her, Kolulu takes it upon herself to gain the power to stop him, and after a time, is picked up as an apprentice by a roaming band of Ala Mhigan fighters who teach her both the ways of Red Magic and the martial skills of Monks.After several years, Kolulu re-emerges from the shadows, donning the name Rekka, after her deceased friend R'hika, and travels the land helping those ravaged by the calamity best she can. In time she finds herself settling at the Wolves' Den in Vylbrand. Seeing it as a fitting place for her to gain skills for her eventual showdown with Valtemont, and as a fitting venue to show off her skills, Rekka spends ages dueling any and every person she can, her unparalleled speed in the ring and dazzling displays of red magic earning her the title "Red Lighting".

Rekka isn't really a Warrior of Light, she's just some lady who likes fighting, i based all this off of how i played XIV and kinda worked backwards to form a character, i.e CNJ was my first class but i fell in love with RDM instantly, then fell down the pvp rabbithole, blah blah. if you'd like, youre free to imagine some tiny lalafellin lady raising hell at the wolves den in your stories too, i think she's very malleable canon wise"Hey hey do you RP"?
